The MV for the track is as refreshing as its musicality. Musically, it’s even arguably a better fit. Nominally, all are observing mask wearing, social distancing and sanitizing protocols.After a long line of dramatic title tracks, Chungha deftly executes a 180-turn with the effervescent “Sparkling.” While not necessarily in line with her most recent discography, “Sparkling” does have precedent, primarily in Chungha’s early releases like “ Love U” and “ Rollercoaster.” Indeed, the feather-light, joyful vibe of “Sparkling” suits Chungha just as much as the more intense style she’s become famous for.
